MARY HELP ASSOCIATION
Mary Help Association (MHA) is a Faith based NGO following the teaching of the Catholic Church providing humanitarian and developmental services to people in need, irrespective of race, Religion, ideology or political affiliation.
The said Association was established in the year 2000 to promote individual talents, giftedness and inspiration for the good of humanity. Today the association work in the field of HEALTH, EDUCATION, AGRICULTURE, SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION and HUMANITARIAN SERVICES. In South Sudan the Association continue the mandate of Christ, that of spreading the Good News of Peace, Joy, Forgiveness and Reconciliation among the people through service to Humanity. Mary Help Association (MHA) focus also on Health, Education, Nutrition, Agriculture, Relief, Food security and Wash.
PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION FOR
UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN
Education is the means of promoting peace. Mary Help opened 10 schools 8 in the area of greater Baggari regions and twoin the vicinity of Mary help Hospital, Marial Bai payyam.
Most of the schools are under tree or in the make shift buildings. When there is stable Peace the schools has to be in a permanent building. The children are provided with school materials and a midday meal. The parents are helped with some food items during the hunger gaps.

Service To Humanity
–Since long Mary Help Association is involved in the relief activities during emergencies. Without prejudice or distinction Mary Help reach out to those in need with food, NFI and Medicines as the need arises. Mary Help Association together with Dorcas international is supporting 9100 households who are IDPs from Sudan with relief food.
WASH Activities
Water is essential for life the people. To get Clean drinking water is the biggest problem in many of the South Sudan villages. MHA is actively involved in promoting safe water project by digging Boreholes, Hand made Well and protecting existing Water sources.

AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES
HMA helps every year 2400 families with food during hunger gap and Agriculture tools, seeds and Ox plough for cultivation of variety of crops like Sorghum, Maize, Sim Sim, green peas, ground nuts, hard nuts etc.
Regular agricultural training is given on various subjects like land preparation, weeding, harvesting and entrepreneurship. Most of the villages around Mary Help Hospital learnt to cultivate and is producing sufficient amount of food for them and their families.
NUTRITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programme for under Five, Pregnant and Lactating mothers and TB patients. Tgerapeutic feeding programme and several malnourished Children with complications who are admitted in the hospital. Feeding programme or Day care centre for the children whose mothers are not able to care for them because of the extreme poverty that they need to work in order to feed their children at least with one meal. The mothers are supported with food and NFLs and encouraged to do agricultural activities.
MARY HELP HOSPITAL
The Mary Help Association established a maternity and child friendly hospital in the densely populated but so far completed under served area of Jur River County about 10km North of wau Town .
The construction of the Outpatient began in the year 2013 and is completed in the year 2016. Since 2016 the Outpatient clinic is attended by 300 patients daily average.
In the year 2018 began the inpatients department. DOCAS International helped to build maternity wing and kinder mission werk the paediatric wing. Maternity wing is completed as well as the paediatric wing and is fully operational.
